Clinical Psychologists are specialists in providing evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental health conditions. Clinical psychologists are required to practice in accordance with the Psychology Board of Australia’s Code of Conduct, and to maintain the highest professional standards by meeting significant professional development requirements every year.
Clinical psychologists do not prescribe or manage medication but work closely with prescribing doctors.
